The IMGD B.A. has various concentrations that allow you to substitute course requirements to focus on a particular area of IMGD. This does not mean you are limited to taking courses in this area, but it provides a guide for tailoring the degree to your interests. The IMGD B.S. does not have any concentrations, and effectively serves as a “tech concentration” for the IMGD degree.
These tracking sheets serve as a guide, and do not fully reflect all of the nuances and flexibilities in the degree requirements. When in doubt, consult the requirements in the Course Catalog on the Registrar's website, or meet with your major-specific academic advisor*
While you should focus on tracking your coursework based on your planned year of graduation, WPI policy does allow you to adopt to subsequent approved tracking sheets. In some cases, subsequent years may suit your needs. Again, you should discuss with your advisor.
*You can view your academic advisor under Academics > View My Support Network in Workday. If you are a first-year student or considering switching your major to IMGD, you may not have an academic advisor yet - in this case, you should reach out to the contacts listed on the pages below for your corresponding degree path of interest, or email imgd@wpi.edu

NOTE: It is our understanding that IMGD were early implementers/adopters in the use of tracking sheets and as a result, various versions of the tracking sheets have been stored in Canvas and at various locations found throughout wpi.edu Unfortunately, many of these legacy tracking sheets are are out of date. As of 12/7/2022, IMGD is attempting to remove uploads of older tracking sheets and store the most up to date sheets at the link below, and link to this location in the future:
